Cleared Results finds what search engines and people-search sites show for your name and prepares removal, opt-out, de-listing and takedown requests as your authorized agent. Whether a page is removed, changed, de-indexed or pushed down is decided by the website, the data broker, the platform or the search engine -- not by us. Some content (news reporting, court records, content in the public interest) is lawfully published and may never be removable. Nothing on this site, in your account or in any report is a promise that a page will be removed, stay gone, or rank lower.

We are not a law firm

We don't give legal advice, and nothing we prepare is a legal opinion. Our requests rely on sites' published removal policies and the self-service processes that privacy laws provide. A check by a person on our team before a request goes out is a sanity check on tone and facts, not a legal review. If you think you have a legal claim -- for example defamation -- speak to a lawyer of your own. Copyright (DMCA) notices and California DROP filings are sent by you, in your own name; for a DMCA notice you first confirm that you own the material.

Your rights depend on where you live

Google's right-to-be-forgotten delisting exists only for residents of the EEA, UK and Switzerland, who are eligible for it. The California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Delete Act apply to California residents. Elsewhere, requests rely on a site's own policies and voluntary opt-outs, and a site may lawfully decline.

What "resolved" and "no longer found" mean

Our check looks at the first 30 results Google returns for your name and each phrase. "No longer found in search" means the page stayed out of those results for 5 checks in a row; it may still exist, or sit deeper in the results. Screenshots and search records show what we saw at that moment. Rankings move for reasons that have nothing to do with us or with you.

What we never do

• Pretend to be you, or send anything you haven't approved.
• File false claims, forged documents or court orders, or claim rights you don't have.
• Bypass a site's login, CAPTCHA or bot protection.
• Write fake reviews or fake profiles, or publish content under a name that isn't yours.
